The squad is already in New York; you might as well make a week out of it.

The Technically Doing It (TDI) crew will hold the second-ever TDI Night at Burton’s New York City flagship store on Friday, August 22, 2025. The event will start at 6 p.m., and feature a women’s-only panel lead by rider Egan Wint. The panel is titled “Women in Male Dominated Spaces,” and will begin at 8 p.m.

Wint won a bronze medal at X Games Aspen 2024 in the women’s Knuckle Huck debut. She won consecutive Red Bull Heavy Metals in Detroit in 2023 and 2024, and won DIYX in Stockholm, Sweden in 2024. She’s a member of the Dinosaurs Will Die team, and dropped a video part in the film Bittersweet: An Exploration of Dreams.

At 9 p.m., TDI will premier its latest video. Beverages from Finback Brewery will be available.

“Better pull up it gets packed,” TDI founder Lu Medearis said.

The crew is in the Big Apple thanks to a community ride event at Big Snow American Dream in New Jersey. Comprised of Black and Brown professional snowboarders, TDI hosts events across the country. Erik Leon, Irie Jefferson, Rob Roethler, and Wint are just some of the riders in the crew, which was featured in the latest Warren Miller film 75.

TDI also sponsored a media workshop, where it taught the general public how to shoot photos and video of snowboarders sliding rails and hitting jumps.

Burton NYC will also co-sponsor  Big Snow’s next “Park After Dark” event on August 29, 2025. After the mall turns its lights off, there will be a shred session from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a DJ, giveaways, a rail jam, and more. Early bird tickets are $50, and the price will go up on August 22, 2025 to $75.

The store is located at 69 Greene St New York, NY 10012. Its normal operating hours are from noon to 6 p.m.
