Forum has been back. Now, it will be on JP Walker’s feet, as well as under them.
Walker’s signature boot from ThirtyTwo for the 2025-2026 is the result of a collaboration with Forum. The Forum Pro x Walker is a team-fit boot with a medium flex.
The signature model is well-deserved for a legend like Walker. He rejoined the brand in 2023 shortly after it was rebooted. Walker rode for Forum for years until the brand folded. He rode for Stepchild and Santa Cruz before rejoining rider and co-founder Peter Line.
Walker was voted Jibber of the Year by Snowboarder three years in a row. He’s been named a Top-10 rider six times, has produced 17 video parts, and famously filmed his 2009 video part, This Video Sucks, completely switch.
Forum and Walker go together like hot dogs and handrails. Walker was a key member of the Forum Eight, which is widely considered one of the first super-teams in snowboarding. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Forum had the best team in history.
The board brand was started by Line and the Four Star Distribution company, and had Walker, Jeremy Jones, Joni Malmi, Wille Yli-Luoma, Bjorn Leines, Devun Walsh, Chris Dufficy, and Line all at once. Walker, in particular, is one of the pioneers of the street-based jibbing movement.
Forum was more than a board company; it was a movement. But in 2004, Fourstar Distribution sold the brand to Burton after experiencing some financial problems. Burton bought it to prevent a ski company from doing so, but those in charge eventually felt like the brand was stretched too thin, and they ceased production of Forum boards in 2012. It was revived in 2022.
The signature boot is available to purchase at ThirtyTwo’s website and at your local snowboard shop. It retails for $330.
