If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Last year, Hiroto Ogiwara landed the first 2340 in a competition. It propelled him to a Big Air gold medal, and set the standard for the event going forward.

So this year, he ran it back.

After bailing on his first attempt, Ogiwara stomped another 2340 at X Games Aspen 2026. It was enough to take home the gold medal.

New Zealand's Rocco Jamieson - who dazzled the crowd in last year's Big Air with his Bloody Dracula grab - claimed the silver with a 2160 tail grab. Kira Kimura took bronze.

Taiga Hasegawa, the Japanese rider that threw down a never been done cab 2160 last year, failed to land a run in this year's contest, and did not podium.
