Jussi Oksanen is a man of many talents, most recently being a pet photographer. He has opened a studio called Studio Upea in Leucadia, California that specializes in pet photography. Check it out here.
Previously, Jussi grew up in Finland. He started skateboarding at age six and soon after gravitated toward snowboarding, learning on a small hill near the home he grew up in outside of Helsinki. By the age of 17, Oksanen had turned professional and represented his native country in the men’s halfpipe at the 1998 Winter Olympics. He earned seven X Games medals, starred in several snowboard movies, and pursued snowboarding across Europe and Japan. He also spent significant time in North America, leading him and his English wife, Zoe, to relocate to San Diego 20 years ago.
He's been shooting photos for almost as long as he's been snowboarding, of everything, so he naturally started to shoot photos of pets, being a pet-lover himself, and thus, Studio Upea was found.
