Welcome to the family, Zeb Powell.

The Jordan Brand celebrated its 40th birthday by holding a Board of Greatness meeting in Greece, where a select group of athletes and entertainers celebrated the brand’s success, and strategized for the future.

Powell was featured right in the front of the group photograph, directly to Michael Jordan’s right. NBA superstar Luka Doncic was on the other side of Jordan. Check it out below.

Photos from the event made the rounds on social media in the days after. Powell posted additional photos to his Instagram story. He was photographed alongside NFL stars Cam Jordan and Jalen Hurts, the Orlando Magic’s Paolo Banchero, and BMX rider Nigel Sylvester, just to drop a few big names.

The list of notable names at the event is long. Former NBA stars Quentin Richardson, Vin Baker, and Carmelo Anthony were all in attendance. So was WNBA legend Maya Moore, actor Anthony Anderson, and musician Miguel.

Powell officially announced that he signed with Jordan on April 3, 2025. He teased the partnership for months leading up to the official announcement, first donning the Jumpman logo stickers on his snowboards during the X Games, then eventually rocking a chain with the same logo at the Red Bull Heavy Metal contest in Boston.

Powell’s signing with Jordan brand was monumental deal for snowboarding. While Jordan brand has ventured outside of basketball, it has stayed in the spaces of traditional sports, like baseball, golf, and football.

BMX rider Nigel Sylvester was the first to break that mold when he signed with Jordan in 2021. The brand proceeded to collaborate on three versions of the Jordan 4, the latest of which has been seen on the feet of Major League Baseball superstar Mookie Betts. There are more releases to come, and they’re likely to be just as hot in the footwear world as those that have already dropped.

There’s no word on whether Zeb will get his own signature line yet. Knowing that it took several years for Sylvester’s to come to the market, snowboarding fans should be prepared to wait patiently for Zeb’s signature stuff as well. His already-existing signature gear with ThirtyTwo is a nod to Michael Jordan already, as the logo on his boots (and sweatshirts and hats and t-shirts) features a silhouette of him at the X Games knuckle huck contest and is offered in Carolina blue.

Jordan is from North Carolina, just like Powell. Since retiring from competitive basketball, the Wilmington native has become heavily invested in professional golf, professional blue marlin fishing, and started a NASCAR franchise with driver Denny Hamlin.
