Arsenal got back to winning ways as they thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 4-1. Spurs saw their new interim boss, Igor Tudor take charge with hopes of getting past his baptism of fire with ease.
But it was not so, as the league leaders hammered their rivals. After Arsenal went ahead through Spurs’ new nemesis Eberechi Eze in the 32nd minute, Spurs responded right away in a minute through Randal Kolo Muani, who pounced on a Declan Rice error.
The atmosphere soon turned electric at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 1-1 at half-time. However, Arsenal came out all guns blazing in the second half, and with more precision. Just a couple of minutes into the half, a right-footed curling blast from Gyokeres saw the Gunners go 2-1 up.
15 minutes later, Eze doubled Arsenal’s lead, after Saka’s shot had been saved and somehow rebounded through Joao Palhinha to fall at the former Crystal Palace star’s feet. In the dying minutes of the game, Gyokeres completed his brace, just like Eze had, to make it 4-1 to Arsenal.

Following the Arsenal loss, Tottenham now remain winless in 2026, and sit at 16th in the Premier League table, just 4 points clear of safety.
The loss also meant that Spurs are now winless in 9 games, a streak that began in January, as mentioned above.
Now, this is the Lilywhites’ worst ever run in 17 years and 4 months. The last time they were winless in 9 games was in 2008, stretching from May 2008 to October 2008. They take on Fulham next, at Craven Cottage, which has been a difficult place to visit.
