28-year-old ‘wants to leave’ Tottenham, agent has offered him to Euro outfit
Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

Tottenham Hotspur star Giovani Lo Celso has been offered to Turkish giants Besiktas.

Besiktas are looking to reinforce their midfield ahead of next season and according to a report from Takvim, the Turkish club have been offered the opportunity to sign Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso who ‘wants to leave’ the North London club.

Lo Celso’s move to Tottenham Hotspur from Real Betis hasn’t gone according to plan. They forked out a significant fee to acquire his services but unfortunately, he has failed to establish himself as a regular starter and has been subject to multiple loan spells.

While the Argentine international has been involved in 23 matches this season under Ange Postecoglou, he has racked up less than 600 minutes of first-team football despite having contributed towards four goals.

Lo Celso has clearly fallen down the pecking order at the North London club and is looking to part ways in the summer in search of regular first-team action.

With the former Betis midfielder looking for a move away from the club, his agent has offered his services to Besiktas. The Turkish giants are looking to sign a new midfielder in the summer and he could be a great addition to their ranks. They are currently evaluating a potential move for the 28-year-old and could make an offer for him in the summer.

Meanwhile, with Lo Celso’s contract expiring in the summer of 2025, this could be Tottenham’s last opportunity to raise significant funds from the attacking midfielder’s departure.
