Club insider Paul O’Keefe has shared the latest on Micky van de Ven.

The Dutchman picked up an injury early in the second half against Aston Villa.

He was having yet another incredible game on Sunday and was by far the best player on the pitch before the unfortunate injury.

After the game, manager Ange Postecoglou claimed that the injury did not look too serious.

And earlier today, The Telegraph claimed thst the player is set undergo scans and more will be known in the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, club insider Paul O’Keefe has shared a positive update, claiming that the injury is not expected to keep him our for long.

Taking to X, he revealed that the 22-year-old might miss the Fulham game but should be back after the international break.

He posted:
“Current expectation is that Micky van de Ven hamstring should not be a lengthy one. Probably miss Fulham and back after the international break is the hope.”

January signing Radu Dragusin stepped in to replace Micky van de Ven against Aston Villa and did a fantastic job, as Spurs secured a huge 4-0 win over their top 4 rivals.

He is expected to continue starting in place of the Dutchman.
