Following the defeat in the UEFA Youth League final, AC Milan’s Primavera manager, Ignazio Abate, has been granted some time off. However, he has not used this time to relax. Instead, he has been partaking in a course for coaches, meeting Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti in the process.

On Thursday, Milan’s primavera return to domestic action, but Abate has been spending his time away from Milanello on a UEFA Master’s coaching course alongside several other coaches hoping to earn the qualification.

Abate and the other coaches spent two days around Madrid’s facilities, learning from Ancelotti and the other coaches present. Following the experience, the Primavera coach took a photo with the former Rossoneri head coach, who could have given him some advice after recent reports suggested Abate could assist the senior team soon.
