AC Milan and Inter have accelerated their new San Siro project, launching a tender to select the architectural firm responsible for the design.

Indeed, they’re seeking the most fitting architectural firm to carry out the project.

Meanwhile, negotiations with the City Council over the purchase of the San Siro area are underway.

Though the Italian Revenue Agency has set the price at €197 million, both clubs will try to cut costs.

Talks are still ongoing regarding land remediation costs.

In the meantime, four world-renowned design studios are keen to land a contract.

All four contenders have finalized their submissions ahead of the evaluation phase.

Moreover, Swiss firm Herzog & de Meuron, known for building the Allianz Arena in Munich, is in the running.

Then, there’s the British studio BDP.

Finally, Populous hopes to work on the new project after collaborating with the clubs in 2021.
