Jorge Mendes wants to do some business with Milan would be ready to bring more of his clients to the club if they hired Sergio Conceiçao. The Rossoneri will have to wait for Porto to play in their final matches, especially the cup final, before the coach decides whether to get out of his contract.

According to Calciomercato, the powerful agent would like to add two players to the mix, Tiago Santos and Manuel Ugarte. The former is on Juventus’ radar after breaking out at Lille. The two teams are very tight. The Italian side might indeed be looking for a right-back and have reportedly set sights on Tottenham’s Emerson Royal.

Instead, signing the midfielder would be more challenging since he joined PSG last summer and has a €60M  release clause. Jorge Mendes will try to move him to Milan on loan with an option to buy even though the French side doesn’t like such a formula.

The Rossoneri’s brass isn’t unanimous on Conceiçao, but his candidacy has a decent amount of consensus. In addition to testing the waters for Marcelo Gallardo, they’ll be in the mix for Thiago Motta until he re-ups with Bologna or signs with Juventus.

Our Take on Milan and Jorge Mendes

The narrative would change significantly if the impetus for the hire came from his representative rather than the team, even though he’d be a solid get. Their higher-ups might not be too open to the outside influence on key choices.
