Al-Ahli signing Mendy: More big names on way to SPL

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is excited to have joined Al-Ahli.

Mendy left Chelsea last week for the Saudi Pro League club.

And the Senegal international revealed he expects more big names to soon arrive.

I know this club is very ambitious and I am ambitious too," he said.

"For me it was a clear and normal gesture... The Saudi Arabian professional league is improving. We see the big names coming here, and I'm sure there will be more soon."
