Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal have initiated talks with Fiorentina star Moise Kean, who has a €52m release clause active until July 15.
Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal have opened talks to sign Fiorentina and Italy star Kean.
Matteo Moretto and Gazzetta report that preliminary discussions between the two parties began on Thursday.
According to Gazzetta, the Saudi side have been in talks with the striker’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, but have not made a formal offer yet.
Kean has already rejected a €15m-a-year proposal from Al Qadsiah and according to Gazzetta, Al-Hilal are expected to offer the ex-Juventus star a €20m-a-year contract until 2029.
Kean has a €52m clause in his contract with Fiorentina, but it can only be used until July 15.
Gazzetta reports that Manchester United are also interested in Kean and contacted the striker’s agent weeks ago.
Following Kean’s refusal, Al Qadsiah reached an agreement with Atalanta and Mateo Retegui, who will soon complete a permanent transfer worth nearly €70m and sign a €20m-a-year contract.
