Amad Diallo is one of the players who has been key to Manchester United succeeding in the Premier League this season.
The Ivory Coast international, who broke into the United team in the 2020/21 season, has made 16 appearances for the side this season.
Furthermore, in these appearances, the winger has scored two goal whilst also assisting a further two finishes.
As well as this, he has had an average FotMob rating of 7.5 so far this season, arguably showing his quality in the side.
Meanwhile, he recently broke his silence on the sacking of Ruben Amorim with the 23-year-old admitting it was a difficult topic and that he had sent a message to Amorim thanking him for what he did for the winger.
However, in the final stages of the Portuguese manager’s reign at Old Trafford, Amad Diallo had been missing with him away on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations.
Now, following a defeat to Egypt 3-2, the winger will return to Manchester United and will be back in contention for the upcoming Manchester derby with Manchester City.
Amad becomes the second United player to return to the club following the tournament with Bryan Mbeumo also returning following his side’s defeat to Morocco.
For United fans and for current interim manager Darren Fletcher, this arguably will come as good news given the quality that he can offer to the United team.
Now, fans may look towards Amad to see if he comments on his journey at the tournament and how him being back in England can help Manchester United.
Meanwhile, fans may also look towards Fletcher to see if he selects him for the upcoming Manchester derby which is due to take place next Saturday at 12:30pm.
