The top teams in Italy are ready to do battle to sign Alessandro Buongiorno from Torino this summer as well as some clubs abroad, and AC Milan are reportedly among them.

According to Fichajes.net, the list of admirers now includes Milan, Inter, Juventus and some Premier League teams. Buongiorno was linked with a move to the Rossoneri in January but it did not materialise, and his asking price for the summer starts at €45m.

Although Inter were considered the favorites to sign Buongiorno, they would only be able to secure his signature via a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. This has opened the door for Milan to step forward by offering the same amount in a guaranteed payment, which could tip the balance in their favour.

However, Juventus have also entered the running, showing their interest in the player after securing Gleison Bremer from their city rivals. Despite the competition, Buongiorno will have a lot to consider, especially given his strong relationship with Torino fans and his family history with the club.

AC Milan could have an additional advantage because Buongiorno’s agent already represents several players at the club. However, to fund any move, they might need to sell one of their current defenders, with Malick Thiaw being the most likely candidate.

Meanwhile, Spurs continue to monitor the situation closely and could outbid all other interested clubs with an offer that satisfies both the player and Torino.
