"And It's Arsenal": Thomas Muller Reacts to Bayern Munich's Champions League Draw

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller described the draw for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals as "nice" after it paired his team with Arsenal.

The two clubs have faced each other 12 times previously, with Bayern winning seven of those games.

Bayern's last three matches against the Gunners have all ended 5-1 in the German side's favor but this season's contest is expected to be much closer.

Their upcoming two-legged quarter-final will see Arsenal's German forward Kai Havertz come up against several of his international teammates, including Muller.

Muller mentioned Havertz in a video that he shared via social media shortly after the UCL draw was made on Friday.

"And it's Arsenal," Muller said with a grin. "Kai Havertz, my friend, I am waiting for you!

"No, it's a nice draw, two very good teams, two very good stadiums, two very good cities.

"Yeah, it will be tough, but I'm always positive. See you Gunners!"

Arsenal will host Bayern in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium on April 9 before traveling to Munich for the return match eight days later.

If the Gunners beat Bayern they will face either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the semi-finals.
