Sydney Leroux scored the tiebreaking goal in the 85th minute to give Angel City FC a 3-2 victory over Racing Louisville FC on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.

Leroux's fourth goal of the season and 45th of her NWSL career allowed Angel City to halt a five-match winless stretch (0-3-2).

Kennedy Fuller and Rocky Rodriguez also scored goals for Angel City (4-6-3, 15 points). The 17-year-old Fuller is the third-youngest player to score a goal in NWSL history.

Taylor Flint scored on a penalty kick and Carson Pickett also scored for Racing Louisville (3-4-6, 15 points), who lost their second straight match.

The Angel City winner was set up by Alyssa Thompson, who sent a pass ahead to the open Leroux, who was to the right of the goal. Leroux sent a hard shot to the left of Louisville goalkeeper Katie Lund and inside the far post.

Four minutes prior to Leroux's goal, Angel City goalkeeper DiDi Haracic made a stellar left-hand save on the close-range header by Abby Erceg to keep the match tied.

Fuller recorded her goal in the 17th minute. Madison Curry delivered a pass into the box, and Fuller sent a right-footer into the net to give Angel City a 1-0 lead.

Angel City struck again in the 32th minute on a free kick. Rodriguez was in front of the net and scored on a left-footed shot for a two-goal advantage.

Racing Louisville received the penalty kick after Angel City's Megan Reid was called for a foul. Flint stepped up to the box in the 41st minute and sent a right-footed shot just inside the right corner of the net.

Louisville knotted the score in the 64th minute after Emma Sears sent a cross from the right side to the left. Pickett took a left-footed shot that deflected off Angel City's Sarah Gorden en route to finding the back of the net.
