Argentina Star Clashes With Conte As Feud Reignites In Napoli & Inter Milan Storm

Tension exploded at the Stadio Maradona as Lautaro Martinez reignited his long-running feud with Antonio Conte during Inter Milan’s 3–1 defeat to Napoli.

The flashpoint erupted after Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty, when a clash between Denzel Dumfries and Mathías Olivera triggered a furious reaction on the touchline.

According to images captured by the broadcast, via FCInter1908, Conte shouted towards the Inter bench.

This prompted Lautaro to charge forward and confront his former coach.

The Inter captain was seen yelling “cagon!” – Spanish for coward.

Meanwhile he gestured in anger, before teammates stepped in to separate the pair.

Conte responded with insults of his own as the argument continued from a distance.

The incident reignited old tensions dating back to their time together at Inter.

Furthermore, when another heated bust-up was later “resolved” only as a publicity stunt in training.

This time, however, the feud appears very much alive and could fuel the rivalry for the rest of the season.
