However, not all fans are calling for his head, though. One tried to keep things positive by saying: “Rome wasn’t built in a day. Trust the process and be patient. Arne Slot IN.”

Slot has three matches before the international break, though there is a question of whether he will last that long.

The fixtures are not doing him any favours, either, with Liverpool set to face Aston Villa, Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Should they lose all three, that would mean nine defeats in ten games – a run that would likely end Slot’s time in charge.
