Arsenal welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates in the latest round of Premier League fixtures. The Gunners will be targeting a win to prepare them for the next leg of the Champions League semi-final. Here is our Arsenal predicted lineup vs Bournemouth.

Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Bournemouth for April 3

How Arsenal Have Lined-up Recently

David Raya started in goal in Arsenal’s 1-0 loss against Paris Saint-Germain last time out.

In defence was Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, Jakub Kiwior and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

With Thomas Partey suspended, the Gunners’ midfield had a slight change with Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Mikel Merino starting together.

Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli led Arsenal’s attack.

Arsenal Recent Form and Tactics

In their last five matches, Arsenal have two wins, two draws and one loss.

The Gunners will have a point to prove, having lost 2-o at Bournemouth earlier this season.

What is more, the race for the top five is beginning to heat up with just seven points separating second-place from sixth. While Liverpool have already ran away with the title, Arsenal will need to be wary not to drop any more points over their last four games of the season.

Expect a fairly strong lineup from Arsenal as they try to prepare for their trip to Paris Saint-Germain. With Partey back from suspension, it will be good practice for the Gunners to return to their more usual midfield selection.

Arsenal Injuries and Absentees to Consider

Mikel Arteta confirmed in his latest press conference that both Riccardo Calafiori and Jorginho are still out.

The Gunners boss also gave an update on Kai Havertz’ progress: “If everything goes the way it’s going at the moment, he will have a chance to play a few games before the end of the season.”

Jorginho may also return before the end of the season.

The squad have really struggled with injuries during this campaign. Arteta even remarked on the spectacle of seeing so many of his injured stars sat sidelined together. He said:

“The thing is we live everyday with what we’ve had. I was very shocked ahead of the game against PSG at home and suddenly I saw them all sitting together.

“Tomiyasu, next to him Calafioiri, next to him Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Thomas. I thought to myself that’s a starting eleven.”
