Arsenal reach deal for Tomiyasu

Arsenal are said to have an agreement with Takehiro Tomiyasu regarding a new contract.

The Japanese international is happy with the role that he has been playing with the team.

While Tomiyasu is not first choice, he can fill in at both left and right back when needed.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has backed Tomiyasu to be a vital figure during the rest of the season.
