Arsenal will be back in EFL Cup action today, but will now play at the Emirates Stadium when they take on Brighton and Hove Albion F.C.

The Gunners have a seven-game winning streak across all competitions and are top of the Premier League. Brighton's unbeaten streak came to an end over the weekend in the Premier League.

Arsenal top the league with 22 points after nine matches with a record of seven wins, one draw, and one loss. Arsenal's previous match in the Premier League was a 1-0 home win over Crystal Palace, with Eberechi Eze scoring the goal.

Brighton's previous match in the Premier League was a 4-2 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford. Brighton's goal scorers in the match were Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas.

Brighton reached this round of the EFL Cup by defeating Barnsley 6-0 away from home last month. Arsenal reached this stage of the EFL Cup by defeating Port Vale 2-0 away from home.

Arsenal vs Brighton will kick off at 3:45 p.m. ET/ 12:45 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 7:45 p.m. local time in London, England, at Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta confirmed that William Saliba will be out, and Gabriel Martinelli is a major doubt to play. Arsenal will remain without Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, and Noni Madueke.

Fabian Hurzeler confirmed that James Milner will miss the match due to a small muscle injury. Joel Veltman, Brajan Gruda, and Kaoru Mitoma are not expected to play as well.
