Arsenal willing to sell midfielder after just one season

Arsenal are willing to sell Martin Zubimendi this summer amid interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid, according to a report on Fichajes.

The midfielder only joined the Gunners a year ago and has been one of their best players, helping the team win the Premier League crown during his first season at the club.

Arsenal Open to Zubimendi Sale

The Gunners are delighted to have Zubimendi in their squad and would love to keep him despite the arrival of Bruno Guimaraes as a new midfielder.

However, Zubimendi remains highly sought after, and Arsenal will not stand in his way if he wants to leave or if a good offer arrives for his signature.

Every player has a price, and Zubimendi is no different. The report claims that Arsenal want €90 million for the World Cup winner, and an offer in that region would convince them to sell him.

They see Zubimendi as an important member of their squad, but for that price, it could make sense to sell him as they have more than enough cover in midfield.

Guimaraes Arrival Could Affect Zubimendi

Zubimendi could struggle to play regularly now that Guimaraes has arrived, and Arsenal may decide that the best option is to sell him while they can rather than keep the Spaniard on the bench at the Emirates.

The reported interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid could allow Arsenal to secure a substantial fee for a player who has already made a strong impression at the club. If either side makes an offer close to the €90 million valuation, the Gunners would have to consider whether selling represents the best decision for the squad.

Arsenal remain happy with Zubimendi and recognise his importance, but the arrival of Guimaraes has changed the situation in midfield. With increased competition for places, regular playing time could become harder for the Spaniard to secure.

For now, Zubimendi’s future remains uncertain, with Arsenal prepared to listen to offers despite valuing his contribution. A suitable bid could ultimately convince the Gunners to part ways with the midfielder this summer.
