The knockout stage playoffs of the Champions League will see two big Ligue 1 clubs go against each other: AS Monaco and PSG. Both teams reached this stage after finishing between the 9th and 24th places of the UCL table.

PSG finished 11th in the Champions League table with 14 points, while Monaco finished 21st with 10 points. Both teams drew their last league phase match of the Champions League a few weeks back.

PSG drew 1-1 with Newcastle United on matchday 8 in Paris. AS Monaco hosted Juventus, and the match finished in a 0-0 draw.

Monaco and PSG played each other earlier this season in Ligue 1. AS Monaco defeated PSG 1-0 with a goal from Takumi Minamino on November 29, 2025. Despite the win, Monaco is currently 8th with 31 points in Ligue 1 while PSG is 2nd with 51 points.

The first leg of AS Monaco vs PSG in the knockout phase playoffs in the Champions League will kick off at 3 p.m. ET/ 12 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. local time at Stade Louis-II in Monaco.
