Asking price revealed: Tottenham have ‘enquired’ about signing the next Vincent Kompany

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Belgian defender Koni De Winter during the summer transfer window.

According to Ben Jacobs, they have already ‘enquired’ regarding a potential move, and the player will cost €25 million. The 23-year-old is a talented young defender with a bright future, and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for the north London club. He’s a central defender, but he is versatile enough to operate as a full-back as well. 

The player has previously revealed that he has been compared to Vincent Kompany quite often. Apart from his defensive qualities, he is a technically gifted player who is outstanding with the ball at his feet. He could add a new dimension to the Tottenham defence. 

Cristian Romero has been linked with the move away from the club, and Tottenham will have to replace him adequately. Signing the talented young Belgian would be a wise decision. At €25 million, he could prove to be a major bargain. He has the potential to justify the outlay.
