Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde was relieved after last night's 1-1 draw with Real Mallorca.

Iaki Williams rescued a draw at the death as he put away a 94th-minute penalty with the final kick of the game.

South Korea international Lee Kang In put the hosts ahead in the 57th minute before a Ral Garca shot hit Iigo Ruiz de la Galarreta's arm in the box as the clock ran down.

"There are six matches left, this is difficult for us and for everyone, but we're there. We have to keep going and working hard," Valverde said post match.

"It took a last-minute goal. The other day we lost the game in a crazy final moment and today we equalised at the end. That's football, there's no logical explanation for it.

"Mallorca presented us with difficulties we couldn't solve. Even so, we never gave up and we went for the match from the start. You always have to fight until the end and, given the way the game was, I'm happy with the point."
