January signing Rodri Mendoza picked up an ankle injury against Real Sociedad on Saturday and has been ruled out, as confirmed by a club statement. 

Atlético may be aided by the return of Pablo Barrios who trained on Friday. His status will be assessed closer to the match, as Simeone noted: “According to doctors, he may be available Tuesday.”
