Over the last few years, the world of football has seen the rise of the Baller League, with the chaotic six-a-side games drawing more attention.

Originating in Germany in 2024, the league branched to the UK with ex-professionals, creators and celebrities getting involved such as Yanited manager, Angry Ginge.

While the core football is the same, the Baller League takes inspiration from the back-to-routes football, with penalties being on-on-one opportunities against the goalkeeper.

Alongside this, to add to the excitement of the game, the league allows “gamechanger rule” with teams eligible to play cards affecting match rules like a real life video game.

Such rules include forbidding the goalkeepers from using their hands for a period, cutting the teams to 3v3, or doubling the score of long-range goals.

Now, the Baller League has had a new addition with a former Manchester United and Arsenal goalkeeper joining the league’s rank.

Taking to Instagram, Yanited unveiled their signing of Hubert Graczyk as their new shot-stopper.

The 23-year-old has recently been playing for National League South side Carshalton Athletic after having a string of non-league signings after his time in top team academies.

Starting with the Everton youth set up, Hubert Graczyk moved to Arsenal’s academy in 2017, rising through the ranks in London.

However, in summer 2024, Graczyk moved to Carrington, joining Manchester United’s Under-21s, although left the club for free the following summer.

After a few months without a club, the 23-year-old joined Wealdstone, followed by Enfield Town and Berkhamsted before joining Carshalton.

Now, Graczyk is starting his new chapter with Yanited, joining the likes of former Tottenham and Nottingham Forest midfielder John Bostock and former Millwall midfielder Calum Butcher.
