As Kylian Mbappé prepares to leave as a free agent this summer, Paris Saint-Germain might seek a replacement, with Napoli standout Khvicha Kvaratskhelia being among the names in the rumor mill.

Le Parisien recently shared that PSG are actively pursuing Kvaratskhelia, with negotiations progressing well over the past few weeks. Napoli are seeking €80 million for the player and have already started looking for a replacement.

Nonetheless, with Victor Osimhen probably leaving the Serie A club this summer, Napoli might not want to lose two key players from their squad. As a result, Aurelio De Laurentiis is looking to sway the Georgian player into staying long-term.

Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reports that Napoli wants to extend Kvaratskhelia’s contract and is willing to increase his salary. De Laurentiis does not want to sell the player, and any club wishing to acquire him will need to pay a premium.

Barcelona also have their sights set on the player, particularly because manager Xavi Hernandez is eager to bolster the team with a winger capable of wreaking havoc on the left flank.

This season, the 23-year-old has been a standout player for the Serie A team, appearing in 42 games, scoring 10 goals, and contributing nine assists. Given his remarkable form, Napoli are now seeking a substantial fee to consider letting go of the player.
