Many reports in Spain suggest that Rashford's performances have convinced the club to trigger the buy option clause that's worth 30 million euros.
Alfredo MartÃnez reports that FC Barcelona intends to permanently sign Marcus Rashford for around 30 million euros. The club reportedly told the media its intention to sign the English forward permanently based on performances so far.
Marcus Rashford has a contract with Manchester United that expires in the summer of 2028. The English forward signed a contract extension in July 2023.
Rashford last played for Manchester United in January 2025, until he joined Aston Villa on loan for five months, and then joined Barcelona last summer on a season-long loan with an option to buy clause.
Rashford has been playing as a left winger and as a striker for Barcelona, and his goal contributions are satisfying the club and the fans.
