Barcelona coach Xavi has shrugged off Luis Enrique's dig ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal at PSG.

PSG coach Enrique declared on Tuesday his football was a better example of "Barca's DNA" compared to Xavi's.

Xavi responded later in the day: "We are about to experience a key moment of the season.

"After four years away from the emotion of a Champions League quarter-final we are now ready to live this dream. We think we have reached the best moment of the season, but In front of us we will have one of the strongest teams in Europe. With one of the best coaches around."

On his relationship with Luis Enrique, he said: "I know him well and we have an excellent relationship. In Paris he built a team to win the Champions League. On the question of 'Bara DNA' I would say that Pep (Guardiola) and (Mikel) Arteta".

Asked if Kylian Mbappe was public danger number one, Xavi added: "Well yes, him but also Dembele, Kolo Muani, Vitinha... Their entire squad will have to be kept under control."
