Barcelona coach Xavi happy with win against Real Sociedad: Yamal a chosen one

Barcelona coach Xavi was happy with their 2-0 win against Real Sociedad.

Lamine Yamal and Raphinha struck the goals on Monday night.

Xavi said: "La Real always makes it difficult for us. Whenever we face them, they are very organized, aggressive, you don't create danger for them. We didn't expect the line of five. They have been very good. We have found their defence well and we have generated some chances, but always they make it difficult for us. La Real seems like a great team to me. It's an important victory for us. We played a good game in general.

"I liked many things. We have been aggressive in the high press. I think that defensively, we have been good. But we have to be more active in space. In general terms, we have been good. I am satisfied, beyond the result, which was vital."

On Yamal, he added: "He is a player who should be in the first-year youth team and at a tactical level, he is lacking. He doesn't do everything perfectly. But at the level of talent he is a chosen one. He chooses well. He is differential at 16 years old. He is of the present and the future. I am happy with him."
