Barcelona defender Inigo Martinez facing more time sidelined

Barcelona defender Inigo Martinez faces another stint on the sidelines.

The summer arrival from Athletic Bilbao had only just returned to action after a six-match leg strain, but broke down again in the Copa win at Barbastros.

Inigo last just nine minutes as a second-half substitute before being forced off with a new muscular strain.

Barca have since announced this morning: "The tests carried out have shown that the first team player Iigo Martnez has a muscle injury in the femoral biceps of his left leg. It is low and evolution will determine his availability."

Inigo's previous injury had been in the right leg.
