According to SPORT’s Carlos Monfort, Lamine Yamal has returned to training with the ball. His recovery is moving along well, and the coaching staff is hopeful he’ll be available for the upcoming match against Real Sociedad.
Nonetheless, the bigger objective, though, is to have him fully fit for the showdown with PSG. Yamal has dealt with a groin injury and recently, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick shared an update on the young player.
“We’re working on it, but with Lamine, you have to take it day by day,” Hansi Flick said last weekend (h/t Le10Sport). “He’s working hard, receiving treatment every day, and making good progress.”
Moreover, there’s another player that the La Liga side hopes to have for this matchup. Diario AS reports that if Gavi’s situation improves, he’ll return in two weeks and just in time for the match against the Ligue 1 club.
