Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are moving closer to activating the £26 million release clause to bring Marcus Rashford in from Manchester United.

The 28-year-old England forward has found his rhythm again during his loan spell in Spain, settling quickly both on and off the pitch. Rashford has also played a key role for Barca, particularly during stretches when Raphinha was sidelined with injury.

Recently, Football Insider reports that PSG are keeping a close eye on Marcus Rashford’s situation at Barcelona. The French club is considering a move for the 28-year-old, who is on loan from Manchester United in Spain.

Barcelona still look set to make his stay permanent, with a €35 million release clause and Rashford contributing six goals and seven assists in 18 appearances at Camp Nou. However, if the Spanish side hesitates, PSG are prepared to step in.
