Barcelona ponder swap for Newcastle striker Isak

Barcelona are tracking Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.

Sport says a swap deal with Newcastle could be discussed in the upcoming transfer window.

Barcelona would prefer to keep centre-back Andreas Christensen, 28, over next season.

However, Newcastle are one of several clubs said to be showing an interest in the defender - and the Spanish giants could look to capitalise on this.

Barcelona are reportedly in agreement with Guido Rodrguez (Real Betis), and another defensive midfield signing could be on the way.

Because of this, Barcelona could possibly consider trading Christensen away to strengthen other positions.
