According to reports in Italy, Galatasaray attacking winger Baris Alper Yilmaz was proposed to Inter, with interest also from Nottingham Forest, West Ham and RB Leipzig.
The Nerazzurri have already been active in those roles over the summer so far, doing the work behind the scenes early to secure Petar Sucic and Luis Henrique.
Now Calciomercato.it claim that Inter were approached with the opportunity to pick up Turkey international Baris Alper Yilmaz too.
The 25-year-old is very versatile, able to play in a variety of attacking roles including centre-forward, but is primarily used down the left flank.
His contract with Galatasaray runs to June 2027, but he seems to be eager for a new experience in one of the top five European leagues.
Intermediaries are said to be offering him around to various clubs, including Inter and others within Serie A.
However, it is going to be a very unlikely transfer if the €35m asking price is confirmed, though there is also some interest from Nottingham Forest, West Ham United and RB Leipzig.
He scored 14 goals with six assists in 48 competitive games for Galatasaray this season.
His record at international level is a little more concerning, with just two goals and three assists in 28 senior caps.
