As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes are on Xavi Simons’s future at Paris Saint-Germain. One report reveals that the talented youngster has decided on his destination for the upcoming season.

Simons has stood out at RB Leipzig, leaving a strong impression with 43 appearances across all competitions. His remarkable tally of 10 goals and 15 assists has caught the attention of several top European clubs.

There’s been talk lately that FC Barcelona are eager to bring Simons back to their squad. He initially rose through their youth ranks before heading off to PSG. FC Bayern Munich reportedly seems interested, too, especially after getting a good look at him during his loan spell with RB Leipzig this season.

Both clubs have received a boost as Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reports that Simons won’t be with PSG next season; instead, he’ll be loaned out again this summer.

Moreover, Aouna revealed that the decision had been made a few weeks ago. Some club executives, excluding manager Luis Enrique, have doubts about the 21-year-old. PSG would have sold him this summer if they could, but they couldn’t due to PSV Eindhoven’s share in a potential sale.
