Defensa Central reports that after failing to land Liverpool’s Diaz and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, Bayern Munich have turned their attention to Real Madrid star Rodrygo.
According to the report, Bayern Munich have taken note of Rodrygo’s limited minutes under new manager Xabi Alonso during the ongoing 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The Bundesliga champions believe this situation could give them an opening.
They reportedly view the 24-year-old Brazil international as the most enticing of the three options to play on the left wing and complete an attacking trio alongside Harry Kane and Michael Olise.
Recently, The Athletic reported that people close to Rodrygo are unhappy with his role during the Club World Cup with Real Madrid. Arsenal remain interested in signing the Brazilian.
Fichajes reported this week that PSG see the 24-year-old as a strong fit for their attack, with Rodrygo’s versatility across the front line making him an appealing option for Luis Enrique.
Real Madrid have reportedly placed an €80 million price tag on him, but PSG are confident they can negotiate a lower fee, especially if the deal takes place after the Club World Cup.
