Bayern Munich veteran Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is again being linked with Manchester United.

The 34 year-old has emerged as a short-term signing prospect for United manager Erik ten Hag this month, says the Athletic.

The former Stoke City striker attracted interest from United two seasons ago.

United are in the market for an experienced centre-forward to support and ease the pressure on Rasmus Hojlund.

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner and VfB Stuttgart's Serhou Guirassy are also on United's radar.
