Bayern Munich will host Club Brugge this Wednesday at the Allianz Arena on the occasion of the league phase of the Champions League.

The team of Vincent Kompany came from beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in their most recent league match. And before that, they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0.

In the Champions League, they beat Chelsea 3-1 on September 17th and thrashed Pafos 5-1 on September 30th. Bayern place themselves in first place in the Bundesliga with 21 points after seven games.

For its part, Club Brugge also comes from winning, as they overcame Oud-Heverlee Leuven 1-0 on the last matchday. Before that, they beat Union Saint-Gilloise 1-0 on October 5th. Club Brugge places itself in the second position of the Belgian league table, with 23 points, only three below Union SG.
