Bayern Munich will host Club Brugge this Wednesday at the Allianz Arena on the occasion of the league phase of the Champions League.⁠

The team of Vincent Kompany came from beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in their most recent league match. And before that, they beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0. ⁠

In the Champions League, they beat Chelsea 3-1 on September 17th and thrashed Pafos 5-1 on September 30th. Bayern place themselves in first place in the Bundesliga with 21 points after seven games. ⁠

For its part, Club Brugge also comes from winning, as they overcame Oud-Heverlee Leuven 1-0 on the last matchday. Before that, they beat Union Saint-Gilloise 1-0 on October 5th. Club Brugge places itself in the second position of the Belgian league table, with 23 points, only three below Union SG.
