Bellamy hoping for Burnley chance

Burnley assistant manager Craig Bellamy will not join Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich.

While Kompany is leaving the relegated team and going to Bayern, Bellamy is not.

Per The Mail, the ex-Wales international may believe that he can remain at the Clarets.

He may even be a contender for the permanent job, given Kompany's surprise exit.

Bayern have secured the former Manchester City defender after a prolonged search for a new head coach.

The Germans had announced earlier this season that Thomas Tuchel was leaving when the campaign ended.
