Defender Andrea Cambiaso is set to miss out on Sunday’s Serie A clash between Juventus and Inter Milan through injury.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso has been on the sidelines for the past couple weeks.
The former Genoa and Bologna full-back has suffered a recurrence of an ankle problem, therefore.
Among the matches that Cambiaso has missed was Tuesday’s crunch Champions League round of sixteen playoff against PSV.
This Sunday, Juventus face a massive match in the form of the Derby d’Italia against Inter in Serie A.
The last meeting between the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri ended in a spectacular 4-4 draw.
Naturally, though, the Derby d’Italia is a match that Cambiaso has been desperately trying to return for.
However, the signs are not positive.
According to the Gazzetta, however, the 24-year-old will almost certainly miss Sunday’s clash with Inter.
Meanwhile, the newspaper’s complete predicted starting eleven is as follows:
Juventus (4-3-3): Di Gregorio; Weah, Gatti, Veiga, Savona; Koopmeiners, Locatelli, McKennie; Conceiçao, Kolo Muani, Mbangula.
