Inter Milan defender Matteo Darmian put in an impressive performance in last night’s defeat at Bodo/Glimt.

According to Corriere dello Sport, as reported by L’Interista, the 36-year-old offered ‘dynamism’ on the right wing.

Cristian Chivu gave the Italian veteran his first start of the season at the expense of the resurgent Luis Henrique.

Despite lacking competitive form, Matteo Darmian refused to let his manager down, delivering a reassuring performance.

Furthermore, he came agonizingly close to scoring in the first half, but his half-volley hit the near post.

Corriere’s rave report wasn’t the only positive assessment of Darmian’s outing.
