Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Brazilian Federation is planning to offer Carlo Ancelotti a ‘record salary’, as the Italian is set to leave Real Madrid.
Former Italy international Ancelotti is expected to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season despite a contract expiring in June 2026.
Gazzetta dello Sport already reported on Monday morning that Real Madrid were planning to sack the Italian tactician before the beginning of the Club World Cup in June.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano adds further details, saying that the Brazilian Federation, which has been courting Ancelotti for several months, is now planning to offer a record salary to the Italian coach.
“The Brazilian Federation are set to offer a record salary for the Italian coach as the best paid ever for the Seleçao,” Romano reported on Instagram.
“Timing now depends on Real Madrid exit process, as Ancelotti and the club plan to separate in a nice way.”
Ancelotti is the most successful coach in Real Madrid’s history and the manager with the most Champions League victories, five, three with the Merengues and two with Milan.
The 65-year-old returned to the Bernabeu for a second spell in 2021 and has lifted the Cup with the big ears twice since then.
