Gleison Bremer believes Massimiliano Allegri got mad at Juventus players because they ‘ran a risk’ in the final minutes and urges his teammates to ‘finish the job’ and secure a Champions League placement as soon as possible.

Romelu Lukaku gave the Giallorossi the lead, scoring his first goal from open play against the Bianconeri, but Bremer scored the equaliser for Juventus in a 1-1 draw against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

“We wanted to win, it didn’t happen, and we must work more. There was space today, but we didn’t use it. We must continue working. I hope to continue like this,” Bremer told DAZN.

Wojciech Szczęsny denied Tammy Abraham in the final minutes, and Allegri stormed off the pitch after the final whistle, so Bremer explained why the Old Lady’s boss was upset.

“I think he got mad because we took a risk in the final minutes,” said the defender.

“However, we are aware we must finish the job as soon as possible and continue on this path.”

Bremer scored in front of the Brazil national team coach who watched the game from the stands with his staff.

“Danilo said they were here. I am happy we played a good game,” said Bremer.

“We must continue and try to qualify for the Champions League.”

Juventus sit third in the Serie A table, nine points above 7th-placed Atalanta but La Dea have two games in hand.

Bremer has now scored three goals in 34 Serie A appearances this season.
