Bryan Mbeumo has easily been Manchester United’s most impactful recruit to the attacking line for this season.
In preparation for the 2025/26 campaign, United signed Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko and Mbeumo in the remodel of their front line, with the results starting to become clear.
The Cameroon international has grabbed nine goals and an assist in 20 Premier League games this season, also grabbing a goal in United’s Carabao Cup defeat to Grimsby Town.
His most recent goal came in this afternoon’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur, as the attacker converted a well-worked corner straight from the training ground.
However, despite winning the game 2-0, stringing together their fourth win in four games under Michael Carrick, there may be cause for concern.
In a video uploaded to X, formerly known as Twitter, by @UtdKev08, Bryan Mbeumo could be seen leaving Old Trafford with a limp.
The 26-year-old is visible carrying his bag surrounded by four others, limping back through security as fans watch on.
Naturally, United fans and staff alike will be hoping it’s nothing serious and that Mbeumo will be available for their next game against West Ham United on Tuesday.
Mbeumo has already missed five Premier League games this year and the FA Cup clash with Brighton due to the Africa Cup of Nations over the winter period.
However, upon his return under Carrick, the attacker has found his feet, leading from the front as the solo striker in place of Sesko.
Now, fans will have to wait for any news to come from the United camp on his injury, with fingers crossed, it’s only minor.
