Inter Milan star duo Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram will reportedly spearhead the attack in Saturday’s away match against Cagliari.

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Cristian Chivu chances of the ‘Thu-La’ duo leading the line are rapidly growing.

Lautaro Martinez has endured an injury-hit start to the season.

Indeed, the Argentine striker suffered a back injury midway through the second half of Inter’s away clash against Juventus.

Therefore, Chivu benched him in the last two games against Ajax and Sassuolo.

Francesco Pio Esposito impressed in El Toro’s absence. However, the young gun will likely make way for the Inter captain at the Unipol Domus.

On the other hand, Ange-Yoan Bonny is lacking match fitness.

Therefore, he will probably start on the bench if he makes the matchday squad.
