There are few 16 year olds what are attracting as much attention as Francesco Camarda in world football, and the striker is reportedly set to commit his future to AC Milan.

Calciomercato.com begin their latest update with a statement: ‘The future of Milan is called Francesco Camarda’. The teenager, who scored a great goal yesterday for Italy at the U17 European Championship against Slovakia, will soon sign his first professional contract with the Rossoneri.

The agreement will only come into force from July 1st but the official announcement should come much earlier than that. By bringing the deal into effect from July it means he can sign for an extra year.

There is already a verbal agreement between Milan and Camarda’s entourage, now the final details need to be ironed out. The centre-forward will sign a three-year contract with a sizeable pay rise and will be added to the U23 team that they are planning to register for next season.

Camarda has always put Milan at the top of his wishes for the future. In recent days there has been a new attempt by Borussia Dortmund but it was too late. Camarda wants to continue his path at the club that welcomed him when he was just a child, the team of his heart.
