Juventus and Italy defender Andrea Cambiaso hobbled off after just 12 minutes of Juventus’s Serie A match against Bologna on Saturday evening, leaving him in doubt ahead of the upcoming Champions League clash at home against Manchester City on Wednesday.

Cambiaso forced off early in Juventus-Bologna

The versatile Bianconeri full-back suffered an issue with his left ankle after blocking a strike from Dan Ndoye in the area six minutes into the game at the Allianz Stadium.

Spray was applied on the pitch before he limped over to the sidelines. The 24-year-old played on for a few minutes, but was unable to continue past the 12th minute and had to be replaced by Next Gen graduate Jonas Rouhi. The scores were level at 0-0 at the time.

Cambiaso has lined up as a starter in all but one of Juventus’s Serie A matches this season.

Juve were able to welcome a few faces back into the squad for the Bologna match. Dusan Vlahovic went straight back into the starting line-up after being absent since the November international break, while Nicolo Savona and Vasilije Adzic were among the substitutes.
